Interior Design — MK Iconic Solutions
Roomscomposed,notdecorated.
We are not interior designers — we are the technology partner your interior designer wishes every project had. We work hand-in-hand with your designer, orchestrating light, sound, materials and air as one composition, so the technology disappears into their scheme and you get the best of both.
Our discipline
Four principles, one composition.
Light as Material
Architectural lighting at the brief stage, not the second-fix stage. Layered: ambient, accent, task, decorative — each layer dimmable, scene-linked, circadian-aware.
Sound as Atmosphere
Soft furnishings, fluted timber, fabric-faced panelling — chosen as much for acoustics as for aesthetics. We tune the room before we tune the speakers.
Materials with Memory
Brass that ages, oak that softens, plaster that takes a hand-trowel finish. Materials that age into the room rather than away from it.
Technology, Invisible
Keypads positioned by the inch. Speakers behind plaster. Screens that emerge or disappear. The room is the room — never a tech showcase.
Design Studies
Six rooms, six conversations.
Studies in material, light and concealment from our interiors practice. For completed installations, see our projects.

Indigo wool · Starlight · Burnished walnut
Cinema · The Inkwell
Acoustic-fabric walls absorb in three dimensions; a fibre-optic starlight ceiling floats above the seating line; screen glow carries the room.

Warm bone · Calacatta · Charred oak
Living · The Quiet Room
Sonance IS-series invisible speakers behind 2-coat plaster; concealed-driver shading; circadian lighting follows the dome of the day.

Moonlit stone · Bronze spike · Deep green
Garden · After Dark
Landscape lighting layered from path to canopy; Sonance garden audio concealed in the borders; one scene carries the whole garden from dusk to late.

Veined marble · Warm white · Soft brass
Bath · The Retreat
Warm-dim scenes that follow the hour; shaded glazing for privacy without losing the light; concealed audio tuned for stillness, not volume.

Brushed steel · Engraved scenes · Quiet walls
Craft · The Touchpoints
Keypads placed by the inch and finished to the wallcovering; engraved scene names; hardware that earns its place on the wall.

Charcoal wool · Mirror bronze · Lime-wash plaster
Lounge · The Salon
Layered pendant and shelf lighting over the bar; concealed audio tuned for conversation, not volume; one scene from aperitif to late.
Our process
Five steps, one room.
Listen
A long, slow conversation in your home. We start with how you live — not what you want to buy.
Mood
A board of references, materials, palette, lighting temperature. Held in your hand before we put pen to plan.
Compose
Plan, RCP, elevations, joinery details. Lighting layers and audio zones designed in, not bolted on.
Procure
We source. We coordinate manufacture. We schedule installation against your build programme.
Reveal
Hand-over with every system tuned, every fabric pressed, every shadow placed. The room, ready.
