Founded in 2019 by our current Managing director Mujtaba Khokhar (Muj). MKI has established itself as one of the leading Smart Home and Audio Visual solution providers to the residential market. With projects completed throughout the United Kingdom with a particular focus on Cheshire and Central London.

Muj’s background is in commercial IT, designing and installing IT systems for small businesses. Muj then moved forward in his career and started to work for a local Home Automation company mainly handling the network side of things, but soon enough took over to do a lot more programming with control4 and Lutron and design work with his team and learning from his peers. He’s since then left the company and founded MKI in 2019.

Since founding MKI over the last few years MKI has become authorised dealers for Control4, Lutron & KNX to name a few and have completed projects all over the UK.

Muj still actively works on site on our clients projects preferring this to a more office based role. Its means he can keep the finger on the pulse and oversee all aspects of what the business does and ensure quality stays to the absolute maximum.

We design each project around the client’s needs and the best fit for them and their home. We are strong believers that every project is unique and should be designed as such.

Many of our clients have been with us for many years, referring us to their friends and family. This is because we take a long term approach to our clients, from when we provide their bespoke handover package at the completion of their initial project, to our regular service visits, ensuring their system is fine-tuned and working to its full potential for many years.
