Initial Brief

During lockdown a client of ours decided to build a bespoke cinema room. The room was to be constructed out of brick and we pretty much had full reign to do anything we’d like within reason. The main brief from the customer was “I want a room to watch the F1 in and movies with the family”.

so we set out to achieve exactly this.

Our Proposal

We proposed a 5.1.2 Dolby Atmos reference Cinema Room to go in with a 120 Inch (16:9) Screen and a Sony 4K projector.

We sat down with the client to discuss their needs and they wanted the lighting to link in with their current Lutron Lighting system and Control4 which we had installed previously so we knew the system inside out.

Thankfully during the initial house build we anticipate things like this and ran some extra cables to a nearby location just for this purpose.

The Lighting in the room is from Collingwood the RGBW (Red, Green, Blue, White) LED strips are all controlled via Control4 too allowing for any colour possible.
